"Tonight I'm a special guest at the first queer Lindy Hop class ever offered in Rome, Italy. People who know me know how much I love Italy and Italian culture, but in a country with no formal LGBTQ rights on the books, this is a special night for lindy hop and for my community. I'm so happy to see this happening! I would love to see a stronger LGBTQ presence in the swing dance community in general, and classes like this are a great way to start. You don't have to be gay to attend a queer dance class, allies and anyone can come... it's just a great way for our community to connect. (Also I got this red t-shirt!!)"
